Here we go…Homeschooling day one
I dislike the term social distancing.
Two summers ago, I planted a pumpkin patch in our backyard. Well, more like I planted some seeds and ended up with a patch.
I’ve never been one for what you would call Team Spirit.
This Monday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. My seven year old was talking about it and what he learned in school about it.
Tomorrow is going to be my 14th Wedding Anniversary.
I often feel like I don’t fit. I could say that I feel too loud or too boisterous or too awkward but really, I just feel “too” about everything.
Simplicity and ease? Or complexity and inconvenience?
This week was a tough one in the Hemni House. Nothing bad happened. Nobody was sad. Nobody was angry. It was just a week with a lot of work. And a lot of learning.
Five minutes or five seconds, sometimes you have to pause the morning and pray.
A true legacy isn’t about tradition. It’s about love.
